Just started a new contract with Sky stream to find voice control doesn't work unless I have the ultimate package, this wasn't made clear at the time. Has anyone else had this experience

No that shouldn't be the case at all, try repairing your remote again

Press 7&9 for 3 seconds and the press 1&3 for 3 seconds and follow the instructions @cathg

Thanks that's worked this morning, last night I tried and I couldn't adjust the volume either, message came up saying tv wasn't supported. However today, following your instructions, both volume and voice control are working. Thanks again 👍

Tried the reset remote on 2 different handsets didn't work so tried the switch off puck to reset as indicated on sky help. This didnt work either. Sky wanted to send me a new remote but didn't see the point as I had already tried 2. Was told to go to home and find privacy to switch mic on. There was no such option in sky puck, so tried the reset under system management. After reset the remote paired correctly pressing 1 and 3 and everything was back working fine.

Hope this helps others
