Skystream one not updating

I am trying to update my skystream one device and it keeps giving me an error message with no code and telling me my internet isn't connected. I've factory reset the device, I've tried reconnecting internet, I've even hard reboot it and it still isn't letting me update it. What do I need to do to fix it?

You will need to call sky now as you have done a factory reset without the advice of an advisor, you will have removed your account details from the puck which is why you are now having problems, it does say that if you do a factory reset you will lose your personal settings

That's not hardware from Sky UK (part of Sky Group, a division of the Comcast Corporation)

It's a generic Android IPTV box, moulded in white plastic.

It was doing this before the reset as well, which is why I factory reset the device.

Are you talking about Sky Stream (as in Sky Television product) or an android stream box or media player produced by dell?

Sky television don't have a product called Sky Stream One, but dell did. This forum is for Sky television products only.

Please can you clarify.

Skystream One Android TV boxes are nothing to do with Sky.

I wasn't aware of this. My mom bought the Dr ice when I was a child. I'm now 29. I looked online and this was all I could find.

It's from about 2016.

Cheap 4K video chipsets (and a version of Android capable of running one) didn't exist much before then.

This also means the Android 5 it shipped with is long out of date, and it almost certainly cannot run anything much later.

Sky only do, sky q box, sky puck which came out in 2021, and sky glass tvs, the gen 1 also came in 2021, and the gen 2 came out in February of this year, or the other is now tv the puck is a small black box that connects to the tv by hdmi lead and to the Internet by ethernet cable of wifi

If what you is the same as the photo timbgood has put up that is a u s important from what I have read on line so will not update I would gess

What you have can out in 2017 and looks like it is no longer available now, and it is nothing to do with sky uk i am sorry to say
