Keep getting refused for sky glass

Over the last 12 months I have tried to get sky glass but keep getting rejected there's nothing wrong with my credit score so I don't see why I keep getting rejected this is beyond a joke now getting to a point where I might just go to virgin media

In the absence of any other explanation from Sky, if you're being rejected it's most likely because of something in your credit report.

Why not get a Sky Stream puck to use with a different (and potentially better) television set?

Or, if you really want the Glass hardware, you might even consider obtaining a second hand unit (at a considerable cost saving) to use as a monitor for a Stream puck.

Why not get a sky glass tv from Ebay then once you have done that phone sky give them the serial number on the tv and get a subscription

Get the tv off Ebay will be cheaper than buying one from sky if you really want one

We are fellow subscribers here on the community but Sky say:

You could be declined a credit agreement loan for a number of different reasons.

"We use the most up-to-date information from a combination of different sources, so even if you’ve bought from us before, the results might be different depending on your current circumstances.

You can talk to us about this, but if we can't offer you a credit agreement loan, we won't be able to give you the exact reason why. Speaking with a credit reference agency might help. Our chosen credit reference agencies are Equifax and Experian."

I'm in the same boat as you! I'm a VIP Diamond member with 25+ years of subscribing to Sky and wanted to upgrade to the Gen 2 model.

However, each time I complete the application process, whether over the phone or attempting online it constantly gets cancelled after everything else has been agreed including credit check, delivery date and deposit taken.

I have contacted Sky more than a dozen times and spoken with a good number of advisors, none of whom can answer thec questions of why it gets cancelled.

I have contacted Experian and CIFAS to see if there's anything untoward on my records, nothing...not a single default or late payment on anything. I've now decided to give up, I just can't be **bleep** to keep waiting for phone calls that never happen.

I only want the 43" Gen 2 TV, utterly peed off!
