    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have 2 55inch sky glass tvs, gen 1 over 3 years old and a gen 2 plus a puck and they are all working&amp;nbsp; OK so I&amp;nbsp; do feel&amp;nbsp; sorry&amp;nbsp; for you&amp;nbsp; sounds like the tv has gone if it was still&amp;nbsp; in warranty&amp;nbsp; then you&amp;nbsp; could&amp;nbsp; have&amp;nbsp; got a replacement&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have been in contact with technical support and gone all through trying to force and update so please dont suggest doing that....... I went to switch my Sky Glass TV on and there is no picture, red solid light with goes off when presing the remote home button.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;tech support informed me that an update had dont this to other Glass TV's and I will have to wait for them to fix the probelemativ software update (unknown timeframe).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As this leaves me without a TV until its fixed and I am not responsible for breaking it - its fair to say I am very unhappy !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone have any potential solutions as right now I have a 2 year old 65" brick and no fix from SKy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I would only suggest completely unplugging the TV and router for a few minutes, then plug them back in and see if a new power cycle will help.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keep a note of when you rang Sky and how many days you can't use your TV if it doesn't come back on and claim the TV subscription money back and any call costs from them when resolved.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No - this is looking more like a cancel and buy a "normal" TV if Sky can push out a faulty update any time they feel like it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wasnt getting the feeling that tech support were talking about a short time frame for any potential fix so I will either be without TV for the foreseeable future or have to buy a replacement and not have Sky Glass&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well 10 weeks later .... Still not fixed and a weekly update stating no progress. An absolute joke and no end in sight. Sky have broken my TV with a bad firmware update and seem incapable of fixing it&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It sounds more like a hardware issue to me.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
