To back up what @MarkGoldsmith says, I had this exact same issue earlier this week.

After speaking to Technical they got me to do a hard reset of the TV, which seems to have resolved the issue as it hasn't happened in the last 72 hours.

You will need to remember to turn WiFi off in the settings after the reset if you connect via ethernet and you will need to check your other settings if you've set up custom picture settings etc.

Don't let Sky try to tell you it's an internet issue either. I got quite frustrated at one point because the person was telling me I needed to speak to my service provider as there might be a latency issue. I did eventually manage to convince them there wasn't because I still had sound on the TV but no picture. If there had been an internet issue I would have lost both!

Good evening.
I am having issues with my Sky Glass whilst watching any channel. Get about 3 minutes fine, then the screen goes black but the sound continues. Is this a known issue with an easy fix? Thank you

I'd suggest giving Sky a call so that troubleshooting steps can be performed. Its quite possible they will talk you through a reset of the TV, which should only be done when adviced by a Sky employee as it can cause unexpected issues in some circumstances.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number. If you are in the ROI on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
