Sky Glass- Contract renewal

Currently have SKY TV on contract which will end in October 2025. My SKY Entertainment and Sky Sport package ends in May. The renewal price is way too much. Basically I was looking to see if you can have SKY Essential TV and Sky Sports F1 instead of the Entertainment package?

Also not sure if we can cancel SKY completely and look into having Netflix and F1 through NOW TV?

Downgrade to Essential plus F1

I assume by entertainment you mean "Ultimate TV". You could contact Sky to negociate a downgrade like this, and I'm sure they'll try to help or give a counter offer. There is a cheaper F1 only Sports plan which you could downgrade to too.

F1 via NOW

You can do this, you'd need to have a streaming device such as an Amazon Fire stick plugged into your TV via the HDMI port. Note that for F1 via Now you need to subscribe to the whole Sports package on NOW and you will miss out on things like cloud recordings for races and race highlights may take a few days to be posted.

Netflix

You could install Netflix on a Fire stick or similar, or use the Netflix app on Sky Glass.

How to contact Sky

You can use the Sky Help portal to contact Sky. If you want to speak to somebody, you can click "Need more help?" at the bottom, and within that content you will see a phone number (we can't post phone numbers in this community). If you find yourself getting stuck in a loop with robot switchboards, just stay silent and you should be transferred to a person who can help you if you explain your situation.
