I have a sky glass tv with sky live, I no longer subscribe to Sky why doesn't my sky live still work?

@Carole4711 you need to have a Sky TV subscription to use the Sky Live apps, except Zoom which you can use without a TV subscription.

@Anonymous Whilst that particular highlighted bit is right, don't trust those Google AI Overviews as a rule of thumb. They're notoriously inaccurate. For example in your screenshot they say Sky Live has been discontinued, which it hasn't.

I reckon it has been quietly discontinued or is certainly about to be.
Why have a product that was launched with great fanfare in 2023 and remove practically all mention of it from the website? If they weren't about to kill it completely then it would be all over the Glass gen2 advertising.
My assumption is that they're quietly getting rid of the remaining stock by offering it as an afterthought to gen2 purchasers, but no more will be manufactured and it'll be quickly forgotten about. The focus is on getting the Glass Air out next, which is too thin a TV to have a Live camera stuck on top.
Happy to be proven wrong but that's my take on it.

I don't disagree with you @BenJoBanjo, I'm just saying Google is making things up there because it hasn't been discontinued yet and Sky has said it's still available for order via MySky app but they removed it from the site to streamline the TV ordering process.
