Hi, hope I can some clarification from the community.

At present I have a Sky Q box connected in my lounge to a 65" Panasonic OLED TV and Sony surround system, then a Minibox in my bedroom connected by an Ethernet cable running on the outside of my property (done by a Sky engineer).

My current Sky TV contract is coming to and end and even with discounts, there is a 25% increase in the monthly subscription.

However, if I opt for Sky Glass, the offer is much better.

My question is.....if I set up Glass 2 in my bedroom, will I be able watch television in my lounge via the multiscreen puck. I assume that this puck is connected by WiFi from the bedroom to lounge?

As I live in a bungalow, there is quite a distance from bedroom to lounge and I use a WiFi range extender to get a connection from my router (in the lounge) to the bedrooms.

I don't want to change from Sky Q if this Glass connection won't work as I need it to.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to some positive replies.

Hi @kw1315864

You can set up the Glass 2 in your bedroom, and then use a Puck to add Sky to your longue TV.

Both the Glass and Puck can use either WiFi or Ethernet.

The key thing is going to be what speeds you can get. I recommend standing where each TV will be and on your phone go to fast.com and measure the speeds you get (on Wifi, not 4G or 5G). Please reply with those speeds, and we can give tips on whether that should be good enough or not.

Go for it, I'd say! As long as you're comfortable with the other changes from Sky Q (eg: not recording, streaming etc.).
