Whilst watching tv the tv freezes and then turns off and takes me to turn off the wall socket to get it back in this happens times a day

Is the TV running via WiFi or ethernet cable to the router?

If it's the former, try the latter to see if that helps resolve the issue. If not, calling Sky might be best.

Thank you for your suggestion.
It's on the WiFi, but I have checked each time and says it's got internet connection ... calling will be my best bet I guess

I'd try connecting with an ethernet cable. It really is the most stable way to connect Glass to the internet. When I first got Glass in 2021 it was an issue for the first ten days for me but once I got an ethernet cable I've had connection issues other than when my ISP has had issues.
