Any particular reason for switching to the puck? I "think" I am close to things swinging on the neatness of Glass (no set top box or puck and inclusive soundbar) against what seems to be the overriding view that the picture quality of a decent OLED beats Glass. Would appreciate any comment on your switch from Glass to Stream.

MOTION SENSOR

It was suggested in the thread "You've purchased and received your Sky Glass Gen 2, what are your thoughts on how it performs?" that the motion sensor which switches the set on is fixed. However I have read elsewhere that in Settings it is possible to switch the sensor off. I have a number of issues to consider before deciding whether or not Sky Glass is right for me but frankly if it is not possible to stop the screen switching on any time there is movement in the room that will be a deal breaker. Surely it is possible to override this feature. Can someone confirm the position on this point for me pelase? Many thanks.

Hi @Simon92 I no longer have Glass as I now just use the stream puck. I can confirm that the "Wake using Motion" feature can definitely be turned off as I did so on my Glass. There are a number of these gimmicky functions in the Start Up & Standby menu. I turned them all off except for the Networked Standby Mode and this resolved menu of the issues I initially had with Glass.

As a Gen 2 customer I can confirm the motion sensor can be turned off via the Settings menu.

The picture and sound quality is an improvement to Gen 1.
