Does Sky Glass Gen 2 have the lip sync issue?

I'm just about to replace my Sky Q with Sky Glass Gen 2, however I have read online that there is an ongoing lip sync issue?

Is this the case and how prevalent is it?

I've got 500meg broadband if that makes any difference?

@keef66 There is a current lip sync issue which sky are actively trying to to fix,some customers are experiencing it some aren't

I've had the Gen 2 for eight days and the weekend just gone was the first time in months I didn't have the issue when watching the live football.

I wouldn't like to say it's solved definitively, simply wanted to say what my experience was. Previously on my old Gen 1 at every half-time for months the sound and pictures would be out of sync so I had to scroll up one channel and back again to sort it.

In my experience it normally happens after an ad break

Solely because of the lip/sync issue? Your decision, of course, but I wouldn't have thought so. You may not be affected at all (I don't have the,problem) and if you do, we know it's so,ething are Sky are still actively working on.

It depends if you need a new TV or not. If Sky Q is working fine for you on your current TV then personally I'd stick with it.

The lip sync and various other issues made me send back my Gen2 Glass after just a few days. Not worth the money IMHO.
