    <description>&lt;P&gt;Same problem with a Sky Glass&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Since Christmas/ New Year we've been subject to increasingly frequent speech synchronicity problems &amp;amp; last 2 weeks been daily &amp;amp; noticeably prolonged duration.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;The usual high tech switch off at SSO for a bit provided temporary relief&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Then at lunch time today the volume decreased with nobody near the remote control - ghosts?&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;As I reached for the remote and tried to increase the volume - all speech ceased to be audible at all - a few faint remnants of background noises &amp;amp; music remained.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I checked across a selection of channels &amp;amp; apps &amp;amp; plugged in DVD player .&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Channel 5 still talking, S4C had some crowds cheering but BBC 1 &amp;amp; 2 were mute, ditto Sky channels, Netflix, DVD - non HD channels less of a problem&lt;BR /&gt;Checked Glass sound settings.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Shut down TV at mains for umpteenth time&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Shut down and restart my dual-band Hub&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Restarted Sky&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;No difference,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;In desperation trawl through the Sky Help system.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Told by Sky support person the TV is 100% on 2.4 GHz WiFi and it needs to be 100% on 5GHz band.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;The TV has been fine for &amp;gt;2 years..... people chatting away on the 2.4 GHz band on all TV channels &amp;amp; apps.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Nothing has changed, no equipment has been added or even moved, no obstructions built.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pure serendipity of course by helpfully sent information about the Sky Glass Gen 2&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;'...re-engineered to project even richer 360° cinematic sound. I'll settle for being able to hear the dialogue,^&lt;BR /&gt;They still haven't fully resolved the subtitle &amp;amp; synchronisation problems they launched with over 2 years ago - still have to do the 'switch it off then on' high-tech fix&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;My &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hub manual says it automatically responds to the device 'request' and toggles band to accommodate.&lt;BR /&gt;lady from Sky said they need me to switch off internet but wouldn't tell me what they intended to do&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;So do I force 5GHz or chuck Sky Glass 1 in the bin.... lash out for all new improved Sky Glass Gen 2 and hope Sky will have sorted the 'teething troubles' will eventually sort themselves out before Sky Gen 3 in 2 years time or I need dentures?&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can't even watch most DVD's&amp;nbsp; it so irritating but think perfect to watch Battleship Potyemkin &amp;amp; Aleksandr Nyevsky&lt;BR /&gt;Grateful for any help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sky glass TV sound.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sound was good and then suddenly last night.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is no voice sounds but background sound music etc is working just no voices.&amp;nbsp; Music was the Only viewing mode that was working correctly but tonight all modes are the same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Background and music sound ok but cannot hear the speech.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Auto volume&amp;nbsp; correction&amp;nbsp; on ,and virtual&amp;nbsp; surround sound&amp;nbsp; on&amp;nbsp; ? All in the settings,&amp;nbsp; picture&amp;nbsp; and sound&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Also is audio output on tv speakers&amp;nbsp; and not on anything&amp;nbsp; else, also after&amp;nbsp; checking&amp;nbsp; all this try turning&amp;nbsp; the tv of at the&amp;nbsp; wall&amp;nbsp; for&amp;nbsp; 10 minutes&amp;nbsp; unplug&amp;nbsp; it leave then turn it&amp;nbsp; back on, if that doesn't&amp;nbsp; work&amp;nbsp; you&amp;nbsp; need to&amp;nbsp; sky&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;One more thing to check in the settings&amp;nbsp; is digital audio&amp;nbsp; output is set to auto, and not pcm stereo, or pass through&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
