Sound still playing when switching on glass

Is anyone else experiencing this issue since the newest update ? Or can someone test their glass to see if it's a ln issue with my set or all of them

if we watch a show on paramount plus the next time I turn the tv on (can even be next day) the audio from the show is playing on the Home Screen. As soon as I open another app it stops.

Not happing when tested for me. Tried opening paramount up and playing the agency, putting the TV into standby and waiting a few minutes and turning it back on.

Also tried opening paramount, playing the agency and quitting using the back button and then putting the TV standby, waiting and then turning back on.

I do not have Sky Glass.,

But not seeing this issue on either of my Sky Stream pucks, doing I think as you describe;

Watching Paramount + and returning to it at another time from the Homepage tile, from when the Puck has turned back on many hours later or the next day.

I never exit the apps, just hit Home, so making it easy to return next time from the Homepage tile.

Thanks both @mikealanr @wonder if you could try a specific show for me - my 10 year old watches victorious on there and always leaves it on pause

wonder if you could start it off and pause it for a while then come

out

Just tried that with that programme on two differing episodes.

Played, pause, exit, then played the episode again with no issue using the Paramount+ plus tile on homepage.

I pause programmes a fair bit often on Paramount+ often, so that is not new to me and never had a problem that I can recall.

It also does a pause when in the app, you do a voice switch when within the app to switch to a live channels and then return back to the app.

It's proving to be a pain as I was watching CSI and then my 10year old put the tv on and it's not great for him to hear.

Have you tried exiting the paramount plus app when you have finished using it I.e keep pressing the back button until it exits and goes back to the Sky Home Screen rather than pressing the home button to return to the Sky Home Screen

Channel 4 and Paramount keep playing

For quiet few months now if I watch anything on either Chanel 4 or Paramount, they will keep playing in the background. For example if I stop watching either app and turn the TV off it will keep playing the episode, you can sometimes hear it when the screen is clearly off, and when you pick the episode up again it's further on. Sometimes when you turn the TV back on the audio of the episode is still playing even on the home screen. Also it can stop other apps from working. I then have to either reset the TV or turn it off at the wall. I've tried everything I can think updating apps etc. It's getting very frustrating! Does this happen to anyone else? Can anyone help?

If I have been watching TV in the morning and switch off, I find that when I switch it on again in the evening I can hear the previous program but there is no picture and only the menu. I cannot then connect to another channel without doing a reset. This happens at least 3 or 4 times a week.

I've been having the same issue , again both Paramount Plus and Channel 4.

With channel 4 particulary, if I turn my TV on and want to watch something else on a different app, it won't work. The only way to fix it, is to go into the 4 app, come out of the episode that's started playing (often not the one I was watching when I switched off) and go to the 4 menu.

Sometimes, I just have to turn my glass off at the wall and turn it back on.

It's quite annoying.

Has anyone got an answer to this? We are having the same issue. It's only channel 4 on demand and Paramount +. Sometimes it plays even with the TV on standby. Seems odd this has started playing up since Sky announced their Gen 2 sky glass.
