I have to use Bluetooth receiver to connect to hearing loop (severe hearing loss) . Device is listed and Auto Connect switched on. Screen shows deep ice connected but no sound output. I have to click on Forget this Device and then restore it as a new device. It then connects and sound is restored. This is a recent problem as it used to Auto Connect when switched on. Seems to be a problem with the Glass TV rather than the device.

Have you tried step 3 on this guide? It sounds like it is connected but not set as the output, this guide may correct that.

Maybe you can try updating your Sky Glass ! Outdated firmwares most times causes malfunctions . Also make sure if the device is nearby to be able to get cnnected.

Thanks, but the settings are all correct. TV shows the device is connected and sound is Bluetooth but sound output is speakers only and nothing via Bluetooth. If I disconnect (Forget this device) and then click on add new device it connects correctly and I get Bluetooth sound output. Seems to be a problem with the Glass TV and not the Bluetooth device. Frustrating to have to do this each time I turn on the TV.

Thanks. Seems that firmware updates are not automatic and I have to crawl under the TV stand, switch off at plug, whilst pressing reset button (need to be a bit of a contortionist at 85) and then wait for Glass TV to reconnect - and then go through all the password settings for Sky, Prime, etc. to get service back. Did it this morning and Bluetooth device connected automatically - so fingers crossed that this has solved problem.
