Watch from start button

Would anyone else prefer the "watch from start" button not to pop up automatically right after you switch to a channel? I like th feature but it's easy enough to activate if you want to from the mini menu. I accidentally activate it way too often from the button popping up every time

@skillwill Yes I agree with you. I couldn't even begin to count the number of times I change channel and press the select button to see the programme synopsis only for it to think I wanted "watch from Start".

I would also like to be able to watch a few seconds of a programme before it is added to the Continue Watching rail. This wouldn't be a problem if you could easily delete unwanted programmes from CW.

Please allow an option to remove the automatic 'watch from start' pop up. Surely it's possible with our amazing Sky Glass.....

I seriously dislike this feature. I have always searched programs which are currently on by pressing the select button then scrolling up or down whilst viewing the current channel. I'm now constantly having to back up out of iPlayer, ITV X or whatever... The UI would be so much better if you could choose to disable the feature. Please can you sort it out Sky?

@Stupidstuff This thread is 12 months old and during that period I have actually got used to the feature even though it used to drive me mad. Just like you when I change to a new channel I tend to press enter to see a synopsis of the programme but instead it takes me to watch from start. This was particularly annoying with BBC as it takes you to iPlayer and then adds the programme to your continue watching rail. When the option appears if you press the back arrow it removes it so you can then press the enter button. The watch from start as a feature is really useful.

I like the feature too – but it's incredibly easy to activate when you want to use it without the pop-up appearing automatically just as you switch to the channel (you basically just press the enter button twice).

Yes we're a year on, but I still select it accidentally way more than intentionally.

Yes, the thread is over a year old but I NEVER want to watch from start... I don't see why this is not a configurable option. It's a feature which causes frustration for many users.

This is the most annoying feature that sky has. I'm relatively new to sky stream,i got the sky glass air tv and nearly every time i change channel i press select for programme information and I'm taking back to the start of programme it's pretty frustrating. Surely sky can change this to the same option as say subtitles where you can use it if your actively looking for it not every time you change the channel

Watch from start just when I thought sky stream was possibly the worst piece of **bleep** I've ever experienced this feature confirms it, I hate this every time I change a channel
