Sky glass set up

Just had the sky glass tv, stand and 2 pucks delivered so what do i do now, we are moving from virgin wifi to sky wifi so will someone come out to set it all up??

@andy290670 Everthing to do with glass/stream is self setup, no one comes out the only thing the courier should have done if you had paid for the service was to setup the tv on to the table stand

That's never been part of the deal. Unboxing of the Glass television, mounting on the stand and packaging removal used to be included but is now only available under the extra cost (£45) 'Premium Delivery' option which needs to be added to the order in advance.

Also it doesn't matter who your internet is with you can set it up on any connection with any provider .....

That's a rather big assumption. Glass delivery terms are not only unclear but have also changed substantially since launch, and most online information is now incorrect. In addition, the significant difference between the Glass/Stream business model and that used by Sky for three decades before then isn't necessarily obvious: it's not particularly unreasonable to think the Sky personnel in the Sky-logoed vans with the Sky ladders on top probably also provide installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support for the latest Sky-brand television products (which they don't)
