Powering off at the mains for a few minutes would be the only way to clear it. This isn't a widespread issue, so if it keeps re-appearing, I would suggest speaking to Sky and asking for a replacement under warranty.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can also restart your glass via the settings menu (settings &amp;gt; system management &amp;gt; resets &amp;amp; updates &amp;gt; restart device). Might be worth seeing if that clears it without having to finish around the socket.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MikeAlanR&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Black square obscuring live TV</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;After selecting a live Channel a black square remains obscuring live TV, but isn't present on menu screen, Netflix, Disney etc. How can this be resolved please (other than switching on and off again).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
