Sky glass remote not working

Sky remote isn't working. Been through all the help options several times. Wondering whether anyone else is having this problem. Last time this happened to us it was the same time of year and seemed to be related to an update issue.

I presume you've tried new batteries?

Sometimes just removing existing ones and putting them back in works. Try that if you haven't already.

Try repairing your remote

Press and hold 7 and 9 together for 3 seconds.
Press and hold 1 and 3 together for 3 seconds.
Wait until you see the 'Your remote is now connected' message and select Continue

If all else fails and you have no other option try holding the remote in both hands and gently twisting in opposite directions (like wringing a cloth)
