Hi all, would like some advice on my sky controller. I have sky cinema with my package and while watching I needed to pause but it wouldn't let me. Wouldn't rewind or fast forward either. Not sure if it won't allow it on sky cinema which seems odd... or is it my controller??

Try new batteries and then you'll know.

If can't be the batteries as it still works on some buttons just not on fast forward or pause etc....

Try pulling the plug on your unit for a few minutes then plugging back in

if that doesn't work

The remote can be reset and paired again following these steps;

Press and hold 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds.
Press and hold 4 and 6 together for three seconds.
Press and hold 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.

Do you pay for the fast forward in your subscription ?

I mean ad skipping ? As that might be why you can not rewind, fast forward, or pause, can you do this on any other channels ?
