Wish I hadn’t bothered getting Sky Glass

The sky glass can be okay, but the second the WiFi goes down everything goes down. Can't watch tv, nothing! It's a joke! I'm sick and tired of this keep happening and I'm fed up with it! Makes me want to cancel the sky glass altogether!! Oh and yes I do have broadband with Sky but I think it's rubbish!

Does your Internet go off at about the same time every night? If so as many people have said its when maintenance is done as less people are on line, also if you can connect your tv with and ethernet cable it more stable than the wifi connection to

The Glass TV has a DTT tuner for such situations OR other video devices can be connected via HDMI😉

That shouldn't really be a surprise: it's an inevitable consequence of choosing a streaming television service instead of one received through aerial or dish. Broadcast does still exist (although possibly only for another decade at most, and considerably less in the case of satellite transmission)

I was thinking exactly the same. It's vital to have a basic understanding of how a product works before you shell out good money to buy it. Research is everything.

I find it interesting to observe that successive governments have failed to get a grip on the situation too: they still expect television to be able to deliver critical information in a time of national crisis, which is going to be tricky in the future if said crisis involves significant internet failure and all broadcast capacity has ceased...

For those under about 30, there was once this thing called 'radio' ; )
