Hi,

just purchased sky glass 55"

we've used the wall mounting bracket that comes with sky and it works fine, however we've mounted the TV a little too high on the wall.

Having already drilled holes and using the bracket that came with the tv, I was wondering if anyone would know of a 3rd party bracket that can be ATTACHED to the existing bracket that came with sky, so that we won't have to remove this and drill more holes.

If we can attach a 3rd party tilt bracket to the sky bracket then even though it's a little high on the wall we'll be able to tilt it down so that is appears more 'eye level'

Just to reiterate, we're hoping we don't have to remove the bracket supplied by Sky already, as that's been drilled in and would be a pain to get out, so require an attachment 3rd party bracket, preferably a 'slim line' one that doesn't affect how much the tv sticks out, hope that makes sense!

Any help appreciated !

The Glass television fits on the Sky bracket through rather unusual top lugs rather than a rail system, so you're very unlikely to find any commercial solution. Frankly I suspect it would have to be either a bespoke design or a bodge (the latter being somewhat undesirable given the weight involved)

Keep in mind that only those lugs are specified to be weight-bearing, and the Sky bracket is not intended to take the extra leverage of a tilted screen.

Hi,

do you know if I'd need to remove the original bracket that came from Sky to attach this?

Thanks !
