Hi @Daz+one

Sky allow you to return it within the 1st 31 days. After this you would need to prove the TV isn't fit for purpose inline with your statutory rights.

You could try making g a complaint: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

If you post more information about the issue you are having the community will do it's best to assist, but remember we aren't Sky, we are fellow subscribers so need as much detail as possible. E.g. connection info, broadband speeds, ISP, detailed description of issue, etc.

MikeAlanR

Realistically, waiting for two years (and having the warranty expire) before attempting such a thing is extremely counterproductive: unless you have logged repeated fault reports over that time I'd think Sky would be extremely unlikely to accept any such request.

As @Exiled-in-HH indicates, you have owned the set from the start and so can dispose of it as you see fit, but you would still be contractually obliged to fully repay the unsecured personal loan which you used to purchase it.

You can factory reset it from the menu so all your details are wiped from it.

They don't have much resale value though so don't expect anything close to what you paid for it. There are customers on here who bought second hand 55inchers for £200.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately i didn't buy it out right. I have to attmit its not worth the price they charge. I would say £200 new. So I don't think they will take it back. It doesn't do what it says on the box. Starting to have faults and from day one has had a grey band down the picture. Should have known then.😶
