Hi @Dazza79 and welcome to the forum.

If you go to Settings > Connected Devices > Sky remote and select it you will see an option to Control your TV.

There is another option to Control your Speaker system. Although I have a soundbar I do not use this option as the soundbar is also controlled from the TV as it's on the eARC HDMI port.

Hi.

I have a Sonos Beam (Gen 1) which used to work fine on HDMI(Arc) on my Samsung Smart TV. Sky Glass TV doesn't allow me to use the volume controls on the remote now. If I restart the Sonia Beam it works for a minute then Sky Glass TV hijacks the settings. Not sure if the Gen 1 is compatible with eArc. Just wondered if you had any advice. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I have the exact same issue (Sonos Beam Gen 1). Sky remote allows me to control Sonos volume once Beam is switched on, then 30 seconds later, Sky Glass seems to realise and override it. Volume buttons cease working. I can't see any other options to control my speaker system in the Sky Glass settings. Don't suppose you could point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I don't appear to be able to see the other options to control Sonos system volume within Sky Glass settings. Are you able to point me in the right direction as you appear to have resolved your issue?

@Andy+Sewell See post 2 above to see where to find the settings for controlling the sound with your Glass remote. Note not all systems can be controlled with the Sky remote. Good luck 🤞

Those settings are shown on the puck, not the glass tv itself.

Hi. I have exactly the same issue. I get settings on any puck to let the remote have control over my Sonos system but this option isn't available on the glass tv itself. If I unplug the Sonos beam, and plug it back in, I get temporary control of the Sonos system but then the tv hijacks control again telling me I won't get the full sound experience (which is actually garbage compared to the 5.1 Sonos system Inhave). Why does the kick have more options to connect sound system but the tv does not. I asked sky and they were about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. 😂

Would be interested in this myself , have a beam , sub and 2 symfonisk surrounds , use the Sonos app currently to control them.

You need to turn off the sky remote Bluetooth feature and use normal infra red
