Sky glass remote

Everytime I press the number 3 on my remote my tv turns off and everytime I press number 7 the volume changes. The number 7 is in my parental pin and when I'm trying to do my pin the 7 isn't working it's only changing the volume. I've tried restarting my tv and also repairing my remote but it's still doing the same thing

What can I do?

I had the same issue, it's a known fault with the remote, contact sky they send out a replacement pretty quickly.

Reset the remote

Press 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds (This resets/clears the remote)
Press 1 and 3 together for three seconds (bluetooth mode) and follow any on-screen instructions.

The next option sounds insane but a number of users have reported it resolving the issue with their remotes. You could try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a towel. It

If you have an old Sky Q remote, you can use that as an interim solution whilst you await the new remote.

I've tried resetting it but it didn't make any difference. Thank you though
