What are you watching on iPlayer? It may be that you are watching a UHD HDR stream which can look darker on TVs which don't have a particularly high peak brightness (like Sky Glass). Make sure you are using the Vivid picture setting as it is apparently the best for brightness when watching HDR content.

I have the 65 inch sky glass and have the same issue the hdr on iPlayer is so dark picture looks good but too dark to watch . Could do with them sorting it there end with a software update if that is possible I've had mine 2 weeks and I'm struggling with that issue also the input lag on the ps5 .

The Vivid picture mode will push the brightness as high as it will go but ultimately Sky Glass is simply not a very bright TV. It's really a hardware upgrade that's needed, because there's a limit to what software can achieve.
