Sky remote for sky glass not working

My sky glass remote recently stopped working for no reason there was no damage done to the remote at all and then suddenly it began to not work the left button is turning it on and off, the select button doesn't work at all, the right button tries to search, to go down doesn't work it instead acts as pause and play, the go back button acts as volume, all that really works is the power button and the speech button. Therefore I gave up and bought a new remote connected it fine yesterday however this remote now is doing exactly the same thing it hasn't been touched all night just sat on the coffee table this is ridiculous and extremely frustrating explain how a remote breaks over night it's clearly a technical error with the television.

Try

The remote can be reset and paired again following these steps;

Press and hold 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds.
Press and hold 4 and 6 together for three seconds.
Press and hold 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.

if that doesn't work you can Replace remote under warranty on the link below

@Jporch316 I have obviously already tried that and what part of I already bought a new remote and it's happening on that one isn't clear

Thanks for the feedback - I've given you a link to claim for a replacement remote under warranty. Up to you if you use it.
