Can I just get a pretty picture instead of a blank screen when not watching sky glass tv? My tv is in wall so I'd like something other than black screen

@nanny+Del No, there isn't an option on Glass TV's to do this. You need a proper smart TV.

My daughter has a much cheaper smart tv and my previous smart tv was much cheaper than Sky Glass tv and we could do this 🙁

True only way I can get a pretty screensaver is from my firestick with the ambient background turned on

I know there are a few downloadable apps on the firestick that can show a log fire or snowy landscape on the screen

Also YouTube seems to have had an update that now includes an ambient screen saver if left for a few minutes ....

I can't find them anymore. I had a crackling fire at Christmas, so where have they gone?

There isn't any built in .... easiest way is to go into the YouTube app and wait for the YouTube ambient screensaver to kick in. You can force the screensaver by pressing back once which takes you to the exit screen. From there you can select ambient screensaver

You can get Christmas scenes by searching 'christmas scenes' and downloading. Have to then play them and you get crackling fire. Used to have spring and summer scenes but can't find them anymore
