Do you believe you will have access to DTT without a terrestrial aerial?

Sky glass query

Hi, I am currently a BT customer looking to switch to sky. I am interested in sky glass but I have a quick question. As I only watch Freeview channels, Is it possible to pay for a sky glass TV, and sky broadband, WITHOUT a TV subscription? So for example, pay£14p/m for a 43" TV and also pay for a broadband package, and that's it?... Thanks in advance

@Elainechurchill wrote:

For that you'd have to purchase the Glass television (cash or finance) from Sky and subscribe to the rolling monthly content subscription at a higher rate, then immediately give notice to Sky to cancel that subscription.

It would be much cheaper, if you can find one locally, to purchase a Glass set second-hand: £14 over 48 months is close to £700 and frankly that's way more than a 43" LCD television from 2021 should cost these days (let alone in four years time) : I'd note LG will do you a 43" 2023 Freeview Play model for £199, albeit without the Glass speaker array.

Keep in mind that Glass is inherently designed as bespoke hardware for delivery of Sky subscription content service, and note that DTTV viewing on it is fairly clumsy unless you use your own external Freeview receiver hardware.
