&lt;P&gt;If the failure point is the built-in speakers but there's still functioning HDMI then in theory (e)ARC from HDMI #2 to an external ARC or eARC capable AV receiver, soundbar or audio extractor could work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;That could well still be a speaker or amplifier circuit problem though, not HDMI.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
