We have thick green line down the screen of our sky glass tv? Its just appeared today as was fine last night

Switch off at the mains or remove the power supply plug from the television set for a few minutes, then repower and let it boot up again.

@CQRB Try the reboot as suggested by @TimmyBGood.. Over a year ago I had a 3-4 inch grey line appear on my Glass screen and a reboot resolved the issue and luckily did not come back. I would suggest that if it does not disappear or if it reappears you should phone Sky customer services to discuss the issue and if necessary request a replacement if it is still within the 24 month warranty.
