Hello SKY Community!

I want to buy the SKY GLASS TV. I already have Streaming TV and BB and Talk

When I researched the GLASS, everything is built in. My question is my current package surplus to requirements, I appreciate that the BB is a separate issue. I should add that I phoned SKY,the advisor advised me that he didn't have any training on the GLASS,but would guess that I would keep my current package. Please advise TIA 😊

So you have Sky Stream? Streaming TV would be Glass? It depends on what you want to do. You can add Sky Glass to your existing Sky Stream account and take out the Whole Home Pack. You will then be able to use the Glass TV and your current Puck on a second TV.

If you want to replace you current Puck, you will need to purchase a Glass TV and then make it your primary device, depending on when you subscribed to Sky Stream, the puck may only be loaded to you and may need sending back to Sky.

You may also find it cheaper to purchase a Glass TV second hand: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/buying-sky-glass-second-hand

However as others will point out on the forum, you can gett better TVs for a similar price in the current market in terms of picture quality etc but it does depend on your reasoning for wanting Glass. I'm reasonably happy with mine!

And Glass is delivered over the internet so you will need a stable and reasonablely fast internet connection, but should be fine if you are using Sky Stream already.

You will need to speak to Sky for this, as we are fellow subscribers. Note you will have to pass a credit check for the TV, unless purchasing outright.
