Skyglasstv keeps freezing after averts and i keep having to un plug tv and plug onagain

Had my Skyglass tv for a few months now, but it's started to freeze everytme after an advert has finished. Takes 10 minutes of having to un plug and re start, getting fed up now.

Hi @Anonymous

Is this on live channels, on demand or specific apps? The reason I ask is sky has a feature called adsmart which inserts relevant ads, which can sometimes cause issues and ITVX used to have a real issue with this.

Some more info will help the community provide relevant help.

We are having the same issue with challenge tv , when a sky advertises comes on and green appears all over the same and then freeze and can't turn over for 10 minutes.

The issue has been reported to Sky. The linked thread also suggests some workarounds you can do to prevent you from having to reboot when the channel freezes.
