Sky Glass TV won’t turn on

The red light is on at the front but that's the only response to the remote. The TV won't respond to voice command, the remote for anything else , the button on the RHS and motion any more. Changed the batteries and restarted wifi.

Have you tried unplugging the TV for a couple of minutes and seeing if that helps?

And that has done the job! Thank you - completely forgot the first rule of tech stuff: turn it off and on again 😂

No problem - it's quite common for little bugs to occur on Sky glass and Sky stream where a simple unplug for a couple of minutes resolves it.

This unfortuately doesn't work for me, i was on the phone over an hour yesterday and they couldn't help.

I have to wait 24 hours for another team to call me back to try to resolve the issue.

Wouldn't car only just finished paying for it and i expect a tv to last longer than 2 to 3 years without having to fork out for another one.

Yes, unfortunately Sky Glass only comes with a 2 year warranty.

When purchasing a TV, one of the most used electrical devices in most homes, I always recommend getting an extended warranty. Some smart TV manufacturers and retailers offer free 5 or 6 year warranties with their products, but Sky Glass requires Sky Protect insurance or some other form of independent large item cover at additional cost.
