No option to create profile on playlist on sky glass?

Hello I have decided to take the plunge and have sky glass after being a sky customer for over 25 years. I have had is four days now so still feeling my way round. I had the 65 inch. I have two big problems. The one I doubt you can help with. It's since connecting my fire stick to it it keep blinking black screen. On/off constantly. I have tried changing the refresh rate and everything else they suggest online but nothing works.
my second problem is I don't have the option to create profiles in playlist. It's just not there!

any help would be appreciated

@germit Welcome to the forum. I can't help with your Firestick issue as I had an Apple TV plugged into my Glass and it never gave me any issues.

With regards to the Playlists; on your homescreen you should see a rail the has Playlist, TV Shows, movies etc. Select the playlist button and the next screen should show a circle with a square with a couple of lines above it and an arrow inside the square. To the left of this should be a + sign. Select the + and select the colour icon you want and an onscreen keyboard should appear. Name the profile and then confirm.

Do you mean when the Firestick is connected to the TV the issue occurs, and when the Firestick is not connected to the Sky Glass TV the issue does not occur?

When the Firestick is connected and you select the Firestick for output the issue occurs?

When the fire stick is connected to my old tv there is no problem. Put it onto my sky glass problem there! I have literally tried everything and nothing works!

Does the stick have an external mains connection or is it trying to power itself from the HDMI port?

Have you tried the Firestick on each of the HDMI ports?

Does the issue happen if there is no power to the Firestick?
