Sky glass remote

Remote started to play up, randomly the tv would go off, the channel would change etc.

then the remote stopped working.
batteries replaced, still not working correctly. Reset the remote using the guide and it did restore most of the functions, however it wil not pick up on voice control.

have followed guide but still not listening !
any ideas

The remote can be reset and paired again following these steps;

Press and hold 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds.
Press and hold 4 and 6 together for three seconds.
Press and hold 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions

if that doesn't work you can request a replacement remote under warranty here

You can also try a few other things:

1) Hold the remote and either end and gently give it a twist like you are wringing out a towel.

2) You can also try removing the batteries completely for several hours. I know a few others have reported that this has fixed their remote issues in the past.

My Sky Glass remote stopped working without warning, although randomly, the TV would come on for a few seconds and then go off again, so maybe that's related?

Anyway, I've tried the reset connection routine a few times and when it's finished pairing and I get the 'Continue' button on screen, the remote 'Select' button doesn't work, so I think it's screwed !!

I've messaged Sky for a replacement.

I have the same issue it appears, ended up trying a reset which works but then screen sais I'm now connected but I can't click connect as the remote don't work...the button on the side toggles the mic the screen says but when I yell hi sky or hi sky glass nothing happens , finally found a sky number to 'talk to someone about this issue' as opposed to getting wound up by unhelpful bots asking the same questions. They are gonna send me a remote...might take a few days !?! Just wondered if replacement remote fixed the issue you had? I have a feeling it's an update and a remote won't resolve the issue....
