Thanks Mark39. Greatly appreciated.

I hear you on the channel choice etc, but the other options is drilling holes in our walls to access the sky dish. I think the puck sounds A LOT easier.

@WarrickSKY first, I'd recommend researching Sky Stream thoroughly. It's not the same as Sky+, and the channel list is also not the same (though pretty complete). As the name implies, everything is streamed, whether it's live tv or 'on demand'. There's no recording service.

The Puck (what the streaming box is called) is self installed. It's mailed to you and you set it up yourself. There's no engineer install option. It requires an HDMI connection to your TV, a mains power connection, and a connection to your broadband. Do check that your broadband speed is adequate.

If you want to go ahead, give Sky a call. Or if you have particular questions, feel free to ask here.

Are you sure you don't have Sky Q?

@WarrickSKY wrote:

So basically Sky+ (where you've posted) being a legacy package, is no longer supported by Sky. Sky therefore won't send an engineer for any Sky+ issues. You would have had to employ a local satellite engineer at your own expense.
