BBC on demand problem

When I try to download BBC programmes 'on demand', I get a message: 'there appears to be an issue with the broadband connection at this time'. There is definitely NOT an issue with my broadband connection. It is working perfectly, and I only get this message for BBC programmes, all other channels are working perfectly.

Is this happening after a search? or does it also happen when manually finding the programme via the On Demand menus?

What worked for me is to not use the search bingo through the iplayer menus instead.

I also discovered last night that I've got the same issue. I managed to find the programme via catch up, but also noticed that BBC2 are not showing old episodes when you go through search through Sky, only showing episodes to record that haven't aired yet. Not sure what's going on with the beeb. I restarted sky box but made no difference. I tried itv and C4 and they work fine.

I have done, but it's good to know that the problem isn't just localised to my sky box and that the issue is wider. Hopefully Sky will sort this issue out soon
