One channel not working

I have Sky+ through Virgin all channels are Working well except 504 which is very distorted and the picture is broken the sound is also braking up. I was wondering if anyone else is or was having this problem. I have been in touch with Virgin who don't seem to be able to find the problem at there end and say it maybe something of a Sky problem.

Do you have a Sky+ satellite box? or a Virgin Media cable box?

Channel 504 is the 4th channel of the 15 Sky sports channel I have on my tv it starts as 501, 502 and so on until you get to 515. I assume that Sky number them differently.

Any channel problems would need to be directed at Virgin as they are the ones providing your subscription

Also note Sky+ is a Physical box that Sky used to provide, so your use of the term is incorrect 😞

@Kirky9 I don't think I've seen similar reports in relation to the channel when it's delivered via Sky, which would seem to indicate a Virgin problem. I'd take it up with them as they're your provider.

I have never received Sky from Sky through a dish only through Virgin cable I am only. Enquiring as to if anyone else has come across this problem and if so what can be done about it. Irvin seem to be saying that Virgin is at fault as it is only affecting one channel and not all the channels.

I have taken it up with Virgin and as I have said before they seem to think it might be Sky as it is only affecting one channel.

Everyone here is receiving their channels direct via satellite and not via cable as you do, so you are not comparing like for like

You should still aim your quiries at the Virgin forums

Virgin should be communicating to Sky to resolve the issue as Virgin are purchasing services from Sky to resell to its customers, like you

Thank you for your help it would seem from what you are saying that there is not a problem with Sky Satellite I will report back to Virgin and see what they say.

They are fobbing you off.

Virgin are responsible for their box and the channels delivered to it.
