topic tv wont turn on in Sky+

I had the tv on this morning, this afternoon it wont swich on, I'v tried 2 sets of batterys still no joy, the box on the wall had 1 flashing light for a while but is now on please help

Is this a Sky+ box you have or do you have Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream ?

@KateArthur I assume you mean your Sky box? Try turning it off at the plug for 5 minutes.
