topic SKY+ HBO max activation in Sky+

How do I access HBO Max content on a Sky+ HD box.....?

Not sure whether it just hasn't gone live yet but I can't see how to access HBO Max content via my ancient 2Tb HD+ box.

Searching for The Pitt doesn't bring up any results, and I can't see any of the content in Catch Up or Box Sets.

I know we're not getting Disney+ via Sky+ but had understood that HBO Max content would be accessible.

Any ideas.....?

@LurkingLawyer it will be available via On Demand, but appears not ready yet for Sky+ users. Try again later on today.

HBO content, yes. By definition it's not Max content, because Max is the app and Sky+ doesn't do apps....

Err, HBO Max is the name of the VOD streaming service, which also now happens to be available through Sky - even Sky's own publicity refers to it as such.... 🤷

Is the list in Catch Up any different to the list in Box Sets? At first glance they look the same.

Hope it's some sort of mistake and it will appear at some point.

It's also a nightmare to search since you have to go through the alphabetical listimgs and can't search by title 🤦

I have a Sky HD+ box and have had the email saying that HBO Max is included in my subscription. The FAQs suggest integration should be seamless and programmes now on HBO Max should show up in On Demand: "If you have Sky+, you can watch HBO shows on demand on your Sky box. You don’t need to sign in or set anything up."

They are all missing and none of the show up in searches. Am I missing something or is it broken already on Day 1?

Thanks. I'm not in front of the box at the moment. Should I be able to see them in the Sky Go app to DL to my Sky box? If so, they're not in the Box Sets. I checked and the app is up to date. It still has Sky Atlantic as a box set tile, but no sign of HBO Max.

I'm in the same situation - all the HBO content is missing from searches and box sets even though it should be included in my subscription. Sky prices going up again shortly. First Eurosport goes, now HBO stuff. Paying more for less and less. Bye bye Sky.

There is no way to search it at present but it should be listed under both catchup and Boxsets as it is for me in the same way you can see Paramount+ listed down the left hand side

HBO Max is listed in box sets and catch up as well as Paramount +. BUT The Pitt is not shown anywhere

Probably the most anticipated programme so extremely disappointing.

And having to scroll all the way through the list to check if it's there yet is an absolute pain.

Has anyone got the Pitt to work on the old Sky? The email from Sky specifically includes it but does not appear to show.
