Hi I have had to stop my sky subscription but when I tried to remove the sky plus hd box I lost the signal to all the other tvs around the house I did link the cables together via a 3way splitter the tv above the box works fine but nothing works on any of the other tvs around the house so to explain the system I have the cable from the Ariel feed into the inlet on the sky bow another cable feed up to the tv just above the sky box the other outlet cable I think it's rv2 feed from back of the sky box to a wall socket from there it goes up to the loft and into a splitter that feeds all the other tvs (4) around the house so I was thinking dose the sky box outlet act as a booster because as soon as I put the cables back onto the sky box all the TVs work fine?
any suggestions apart for throwing the hole lot out the window will be very appreciated

thanks

Chris

@Chris+r+d yes, the Sky box's RF outputs are slightly amplified. You might need to replace your Sky box with an RF (aerial) booster.

Thanks for your replies

unfortunately the sky box doesn't work on the rf 2 outlet that's the reason I stop having sky as someone who was with sky from the beginning but as I got older and retired I couldn't afford the full package so bit bye bit I had to cut it back then the box went on the blink so I did some investigating on why I was not able to get any channels to the kitchen and bedrooms with the help of a company that requires skyboxes it was going to cost too much for me and sky also as usual decided to put the prices up I took the decided to stop sky so that was the reason I wanted to remove the sky box and then maybe when I can afford it I will get a recorder box.

anyway thanks again to everyone for all your help

hope you all have a great Christmas. this 80 year old will
all the best

chris
