Sky Viewing Card needs pairing to Sky HD box

My viewing card needs pairing to HD box only mentions Sky Q box at sky.com/quickfix, this has happened before and was sorted over the phone, but cannot get to speak to anyone, open to suggestions ??

You can't pair a viewing card to any other Sky+ / Sky+HD box that it wasn't paired to at the end of October 2024.

You can still call Sky to discuss your options which will be upgrading to Sky Q or moving to Glass / Steam to continue to view Sky content through a Sky subscription.

@Alan273 if it's the same box and Card you were using prior to October last year (not clear why you would need to pair them again), carrying out a New Install will re-pair them.

I had the same issue with one of my Cards.

I came back from Work, and this Message was on the Screen.
it was A card that came with the Box.
I just hit Select and to pair the card Again... and it was Paired again.

I think it is a rare issue.

In Some cases the card itself is broke.

Update... few days ago in the Morning.. The Message on Screen

Your viewing card needs to be paired... When i pres select... after a while

request was successful your channels will be available shortly... But nothing...

When i remove the card and re isert it: Your viewing card needs to be paired..

That was the Game Over for the Card. As i Figure It out Sky has Killed the Card.

After over 12 Yers Sky has Cancelt my Contract. Why... ecause i life in Germany i guess.

And Hey my with Multiroom Viewing Card almost the same, But on this Sky made a Mistake, The Card is not Compett disabled.

Some Sky Channels are Still Working in SD Like Sky Atlantic, Sky Max, Sky Showcase, Sky History, Sky Commedy, and so on, but all Discovery channels, the Kids Channels are Disabled. Only Disc. Turbo +1 is still Working..

Sky Cinema ís also not Working, but SKY Sports..

bye bye SKY it was a good time.

I guess since the Brexit German Custumers are not longer Welcome?

But i still can Order Sky IPTV from My Sky Account.... and Sky Glass

I had SKY UK not SKY Germany, in am on the right place.. I was 2014 in the UK for one Year. and took my Sky Contract with me back to germany. And it was okay until few days ago.

I have The SKY+ HD Box DRX895 and 595

Yes i also have SKY Germany as well, but there a SKY Q and yes we have our own Community..

You are in breach of you contract if you are using a Sky UK account outside of the UK & ROI ! 😞

The T's and C's you agreed to back in the day covers useage in the UK and ROI only.

I guess back then Sky UK was open for whole Europe, Not this day.

Otherwise i not coult pay so long for SKY, and Sky had knows my Address here.

I think the Digital wall are Rising again.

it is a Shame, but it was a good time.

What ever i am out now.

But why i can Still order SKY TV With Ultimate, and SKY Glass from my Account??
Was my Kick Out on Purpose to make me to a Stream Customer.
I can´t order SKY Q.

And by the way i had Paid over £100 / Month

Like i said, Sky has Known my German address, since back then.

what ever, it was a good time.

And that is one reason why Piracy TV is Rising.

I had paid Thousand of Pounds to SKY in the Last Years.
