There's no picture or sound coming from our sky hd + box. Lights on the box look ok, switched off and on a few times, leaving a good while im between. taken card out and reinserted. Red light on box indicates signal is being received from remote to box. HDMI connection is to socket 1 on to and not been changed..

perhaps the satellite connection is down? How can we tell.... sky isn't showing any problems on line for us (north London)

Any ideas?! Thanks

Does the power LED on the front of the box change from red/amber to green when you turn the box on with your remote?

You say you've turned the box off and on - have you turned it off at the plug for at least 4 minutes?

After 5 mins switched off we still only have an amber light
