Your box could be on the way out so as it is not possible to pair the viewing card to a replacement Sky+ box your options are to upgrade to Sky Q, Glass or stream.

Hi there, I am having to reboot a "very hot" Sky + box daily. We lose channels and have to reboot, I have to get out of bed daily to come to main box to reboot to watch in bedroom. The connection is lost evertime we switch channels. Our recorded programmes have "gone" and we have to reboot if we want to watch anything recently saved (since we lost everything). Not great. Rob

Not great.

Given manufacturing ceased in 2015, the youngest Sky+ HD boxes are now a decade old.

As @caesarome indicates, there's essentially no realistic solution to hardware problems other than moving to a current platform.
