Returning an old Sky box

I have given up Sky after 23 years and need to return the old Sky box and controller. How do i do this?

If it's an old Sky+ box you don't have to return it - it's your property. If you want to send it back for recycling, see: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/recycle-sky-equipment

If it's an old Sky+ box and controller then you don't need to return it to Sky. Only Sky Q or Sky Stream equipment needs to be returned to Sky and they will send you packaging to return it, normally 31 days after your cancellation has completed.

If you would like to get rid of any Sky+ equipment you can send it to Sky free of charge for recycling. All the information you need is on this page, including how to print off a freepost returns label.

Perhaps note that while 'recent' (2014-15) Sky+ HD boxes used to have at least a little residual value second-hand, that's essentially no longer the case now viewing cards cannot be transferred between them.
