The search facility is not working on sky plus I've tried rebooting that didn't work

Is the internet connection working on the box, you can check this via services (on the remote) > services > network.

internet connection is fine

Give a planner rebuild a try:

Press Services on your remote

Select Help

Select Sky+ Rebuild

This should take no longer than 10 minutes, don't do it if you are recording or due to start recording something. Your recordings and downloads are safe when doing this.

just goes on to the programme list, this is getting annowing time to rethink my subscription i think
