Pairing sky plus box

Hello.does anybody know why I have to keep getting skyplus hd box paired with sky about every 2 months.

It is the one in my bedroom and used about 3 times a week.i call sky and they do it for me in a couple of minutes.i once got an automated line which was handy and you just told it what the numbers were of the box and it paired viewing card.

I don't know why it's happening, but you're not alone - I've seen it reported several times before.

Is the box left in standby (orange LED) when not in use or do you remove the power from the mains (no LED)?

Yes box left in stand by mode

Ok thankyou for your help.you could well be right as don't have problem with other dky plus hd box.
