How to watch Paramount+ via app?

I have free access to Paramount+, courtesy of my Sky Cinema subscription. I have an older Sky+ HD box, so watch on TV via the Sky Cinema menu. I am going to be away from home for a while, and would like to be able to continue watching content I have already started, on my iPad, but Paramount+ isn't on the SkyGo app, and there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to link the downloaded Paramount+ app with my Sky account. If I have free access thanks to my Sky Cinema subscription, I surely shouldn't have to pay a fee to be able to watch via the Paramount + app, just because I happen to have an older Sky box, which doesn't use the app? Any remedy/ suggestions?

Unfortunately, there is no access to the Paramount App for Sky+HD customers.

As @oj01 says, unfortunately SKY HD customers can't set up for use on the Paramount + app.

The set up process relies on going through a process only available to SKY Q/Glass/Stream customers as this setup process uses the app on those platforms & the SKY HD box doesn't support apps for this to be able to happen

I have 1 year free access from my Sky VIP app and the Sky+HD box from, but never used via Sky, I added the app to my tv's and also use the Paramount+ app on my android tablet. Can you not download the Paramount+ on your iPad?

The problem is the linking of the Paramount + account to SKY which must initially done on a SKY box and the SKY HD boxes don't support the app so it cannot be done

Once the Paramount + account is set up you can use the app on any platform.

As I say it is the initial set up for SKY HD customers that is the problem
