Mute button wont go off .

Hi just got new remote .set it up with sky help .had to put on mute so i could hear the mans instructions .now it wont turn my sound back on .can any one help ?

Have you tried pressing the volume up/down buttons?

Yes i have no luck .ive just rebooted hopefully that might sort it .but thank you for the help this is great had no idea this was here .👍

Ok that got volume back .now the volume buttons dont work .feel like a right idiot .

You might have used ,an imperfect code when you programmed your Sky remote. For some TVs there's more than one code but not all give you full functions . You could try another one to see if it's any better.

Remember that the volume (and mute) buttons are controlling your TV, not your Sky Box.

Sounds like you may not have used the correct code for your TV.
