Sky Sports + Rugby League

We have Sky Sports subscription including Sky Sports +HD. The listings show that live Rugby League should be on today (Sunday 30 March) but instead the channel is showing Bundesliga, Freiburg v Union Berlin. Can anyone advise how to access the rugby?

@MT57 you can't access sky sports plus via the box has it doesn't support apps you would need to upgrade to Q glass or stream for that

you can still access the content via the sky sports mobile app on tablet and phone only

I may be an old timer but I'm still more than happy with my old Sky+HD box with the full channel package. The problem however is that after advertising that sky now covered all the weekly super league matches, I find myself sat in front of a 55" UHD tv but watching the majority of games on my iPad. What's more, is that sky deliberately stop me from mirroring the iPad screen to my main tv. My wife an I are both Wigan fans but 2 people watching one iPad at the same time for a full match is just ridiculous. I can't even record or replay streamed matches to watch later. Please sort this out. Of all the output delivered by Sky, the rugby league coverage has become a joke.

Unfortunately that's probably not going to change: blocking external output from Sky Go on mobile devices is a long-standing restriction, and realistically a minority sport isn't going to get satellite time over others.

From a business perspective they want people on their modern platforms and so the streaming channels aren't going to be added on Sky+.

Additionally they are very unlikely to add casting/airplay functionality to the apps because they don't want people going round other houses or sharing logins to watch on the big screen - they want subscriptions to Sky instead.

Unfortunately the only real route you have is to upgrade from Sky+ or separately subscribe to Now Sports and use a smart TV app to access the Sky Sports+ streams that way.
